Some items you should make sure you have prior to traveling: 1. Documents-DS-2019, Passport, Social Security Card (if you have one) 2. Proper required uniform (written in your job offer) 3. Sunscreen and lotion

• Prior to arrival, you MUST arrange your OWN transportation from your destination airport to Wilderness Resort. • Wilderness DOES NOT provide transportation to or from the resort. For more information on setting up transportation to the resort, please click on the Transportation tab under Pre-Arrival Information. Here you can view a list of recommended transportation options to get to the Wilderness!

Once you arrive, you must complete orientation before you begin working. Orientation schedules are created in advance, so it's very important you share your arrival date with us ahead of time! Within 2-3 days of your arrival, you will receive an e-mail with the date and time of your scheduled orientation. It is crucial you read and follow the instructions in this e-mail very closely, so you are ready and prepared to begin right away!

• The application for your social security card will begin in orientation with the ONLINE social security application. After you complete orientation, you will be assigned a specific DATE and TIME for the your in-person appointment. • Wilderness is responsible for arranging appointment dates, times, and transportation for you. Once you are assigned an appointment, you will receive an e-mail with your appointment information. • If it has been more than 5 days since you completed orientation and you have NOT received an e-mail regarding your social security appointment, please stop by the HR office.

• We accept roommate requests for groups of 2, 3, or 4. • You will need to provide your visa AND social security status WITH OR BEFORE your request or it will not be granted. • Please have ONE person from your group send an email to students@wildernessresort.com with the subject 'Roommate CODE'; including the full names of each person in the room AND a 6 digit code of your choice that is LETTERS ONLY and no more than 2 letters repeating. • Please view your welcome e-mail for season-specific roommate request deadlines. • Room are gender specific, so please do not send a request to share a room with someone of a different gender. • Please keep in mind, we try and grant ALL requests, but none are guaranteed.
